Welcome to the sunniest city in Australia

First of all, Welcome and thank you for visiting XO Perth Private Tours. Please allow me to introduce myself and tell you why I'm here.

Hello I'm Neil, owner of XO Perth Private Tours and one of the lucky few people that gets to live in this wonderful place called Perth. I say "gets to live" here because I haven't always, but when I arrived one Christmas morning I instinctively knew I wanted to. Driving straight from the airport to the beach I’d expected to have the place to myself at 8:00am only to find it surprisingly vibrant with lots of families already out celebrating in true Aussie style. Within 3 months I'd moved here and I've not regretted that decision for a minute.

Throughout my childhood my family lived on a farm in central England which led to a lifelong passion for the outdoors and travelling to discover the natural wonders of the world. My thirst for adventure took me motorcycling the European Alps, scuba diving with the world's biggest shark, cycling the remote Gibb River Road, swimming with frogs in a Sahara Desert oasis and I even stumbled upon 'Fin del Mundo' (the End of the World). I’ve now explored a great many countries and lived on 3 continents.

Even then Perth is not like anywhere else I've ever been or seen, it has a unique lifestyle that's both luxurious and relaxed at the same time. Perth has all the attractions of a big city can and yet you can find your own private little paradise within a few hours drive in any direction. As varied as the colours of the dreamtime Wagyl that created this region, WA is blessed with a diverse culture, landscape, wildlife, food and leisure. Not to mention a rich and controversial history. In short, Perth is perfectly balanced half way between somewhere and nowhere and nobody could wish for more. It's a privilege living here and I'm passionate about showing others why.

I don't describe Perth as extraordinary just because I live here, I live here because it is.
